JOE
"PohGo" PRUITT was born and raised in the jolly
ole' town of London....London, Ohio that is. Where the
weather never knows what it wants to do day in and day out.
He currently resides in Springfield, Ohio, often referred to
as "Springtucky" by the local villagers.
Back in 2010, his two daughters, ages 8 and 12, joked about
having a comic strip about them and their day to day silly
antics. On that day, BRIT & IVY was born. The comic strip
ran for numerous months in the local newspaper.
Not satisfied and hungry for grander adventures, BRIT & IVY,
the comic book series, began in 2012. Since then 2 issues
have been produced along with a SPECIAL which included all
the original strips and some behind the scenes sketches,
writings, etc. The 3rd issue is currently in production.
PohGo has done freelance work for such companies as Platinum
Studios, New Kingdom Entertainment, Blue Water Productions
and Twilight Star Studios, plus many other independent
publishers during his 12+ years in the business.
PohGo will be supplying art for a forthcoming "Parody" comic
with writer "Fate Spears" and he is also finalizing
illustrations for a children's book entitled, "Winnifred's
Weepaling" written by Jes Magdaleno.
